Looks like it’s going to be a cold, rainy Saturday here in the Atlanta area. And of course nothing beats a Saturday morning like sitting on the sidelines in 35 degree whether watching 6-yr. olds kick the soccer ball around. That’s where I’ll be. Better stop by Starbucks on the way for some hot coffee.
Here are some great reads on the web from the past week. Enjoy your weekend.
(11:30 am Update: There were snow flurries at the soccer game this morning. Of course the girls enjoyed that more than playing soccer.)

Anytime outside in fresh air always feels good. Thanks so much for the inclusion. I really appreciate it.
I agree and you’re welcome!
Thank you so much for the mention!! Yes my neighbor Shannon Ryan and I are experiencing quite the lovely weather this weekend. 🙂
You bet. I think our nice weather is coming. It’s supposed to be 70 next weekend so that should make for a more enjoyable soccer game.
Thanks for the mention Brian! Really do appreciate it. Hope your coffee kept you warm at your daughter’s game. My girls would have enjoyed the flurries too. Alas, somehow we’ll have to manage wit our 80+ degree weather this weekend. 🙂 Have a great weekend!
I’m thoroughly jealous 🙂
Thanks for the shoutout, Brian! Are you sure you’re in Atlanta? It’s going to be about that temp in MN today, except for that there’ll be no soccer, given there’s still a good 10 inches of snow on the ground. :-). Have a great weekend!
Yeh, this is Atlanta. 40 degrees one day…60 the next. That’s how our winters go.
Well, I guess that’s better than six straight months of living in Antarctic type weather. :-). Rick was down there one time for a business trip (in June, luckily) and loved it.
Thanks for the mention Brian! Gotta love playing soccer this time of year. I had many games that I played in growing up that were very similar.
It’s really funny to see everyone playing as they are bundled up in their coats and hats. At least they get to move around and create some body warmth, unlike the parents who can only sit and watch.
